Great-Grandma Spackman's Corn Pudding


2 cups Corn

2 Eggs, beat slightly

3/4 cup Whole Milk or Cream

1 tsp Salt

1/8 tsp Pepper

1/2 cup Walnuts or Pecans

2 tsp chopped fine Onions (optional, I never use them)

2 Tbs Fat (She used melted Lard)

1 Tbs Maple Syrup or Honey


Grease a 9" pan. In the pan, mix all together then add the corn. Bake 350° till Firm. I always double this and make it in a 13X9 pan. Takes maybe 30 min to cook.
