Golden gate snack rolls

1 T. yeast     

1 c. warm water

4-4 ½ c. flour        

8 oz. Cheez Whiz   

2 T. sugar               

2 T. butter              

1 tsp. Salt               

  BUTTERY ONION FILLING

½ c butter                 

1 pkg. Dry onion soup mix


  1. Add yeast to warm water and let the yeast soften.

  2. Add in half the flour and beat for 2 minutes.

  3. Add in the rest of the ingredients and make a stiff dough, then cover.

  4. Raise until doubled, about 30 minutes.

  5. Roll out in a 20x14 Rectangle.

  6. Combine ingredients for the buttery onion filling and spread out on rolled out dough.

  7. Roll up like a jellyroll starting on the short side. Cut in 2 loaves. Use greased sheets. Cover and raise til doubled about 45 minutes.

  8. Bake for 20 minutes at 350`
