Chinese Chicken Salad

Quantity: Big Bowl


1 Napa Cabbage

4-6 Green Onions Chopped

2-3 Pieces of Chicken browned and Cubed

1 Can Water Chestnuts (Opt)

1 Can tidbit Pineapple or 1 Fresh Pineapple cut small

2 Tbsp Butter

1 Cup Almonds chopped

1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds

Dressing:

1 Tbsp (more on the heavy side) Sesame Oil

1/4 Cup Soy Sauce (Dark soy sauce is very yummy) or Tamari Sauce

1/2 Cup Olive Oil

1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Tbsp of Maple Syrup - 1/4 C Sucanat - or 2 Tbsp Honey


  1. Chop Cabbage, Onions, Chicken, Pineapple and water chestnuts. Add to a bowl.

  2. Cook in a pan: Brown the almonds and sesame seeds in the butter.

  3. Mix the dressing.

  4. Add dressing, cooked nuts, and chopped ingredients all together.

  5. Enjoy!
