This is the simplest recipe I have. And it’s great. Reminiscent of our old family favorite Chiz’s.
Start with a good live culture sour cream. Full fat is great but make sure there are no additives and that there are live cultures.
8 0z Cream Cheese
Add a couple generous TBLs of Litehouse freeze-dried Salad herb blend. Literally called “Salad”. It is a small spice bottle I find in the produce section of my grocery store. If you can’t find it the ingredients are parsley, red onion, chives, shallots, garlic, dill all freeze dried.
Some cayenne is good too. or a pinch of cumin if you want.
Add a couple of shakes of garlic salt
Stir then let is sit for some hours and then dip away!
