Ok, these are seriously good. First try, YUM! But I love brownies. I even felt ok about having these for breakfast and sending them in my kids school lunches because of the healthy ingredients mixed together in a chocolate treat. They freeze very well.
1 cup Natural Yeast Starter 2 cups unsweetened Applesauce 4 Eggs 3 tsp Vanilla 1-1/2 cups Cocoa 1-1/2 cups Real Maple Syrup (You could use other sweetener here like honey, sucanat) 3 tsp Green Stevia Powder 2 tsp Baking Soda 2 tsp Baking Powder (aluminum free) 1 tsp Salt 2 cups Soaked Walnut pieces 4 cups Sprouted Wheat Flour Milk to thin – it is neededPreheat oven 400°. Mix all the ingredients together and then add the flour. Barely mix until just incorporated. Fill greased muffin tins or papers 1/2 full. Sprinkle walnuts on top if desired. Bake 11-15 min or until they spring back when pressed. Makes 36 small muffins
Enjoy!
Optional changes: (I made three variations and liked them all, but there was one I liked the best, but I can’t remember which was which. So this is one you will have to experiment on. When I figure it out, I will notate it 😉
